VEHICLE SPEEDING             
Attention - please prioritize safety when driving within the subdivision!

Results from 5/2023 Speed Radar at Maple Hill Drive and Dewar:
High speed was 41-mph and average speed was 21.95 for a total of over 1,500 vehicles.

Here are the results from a speed measurement device that the MHHA had installed on Maple Hill Drive and Dewar by the Northville Township Police Department. A total volume of 2,301 cars were sampled from July 12 - August 2, 2022.

Max speed was 36 mph
Average speed was 21.45 mph

ROAD CONDITIONS            
Road Updates,
I have been working with Terry Marecki ( Wayne County Commisioner) and Bob Belair, (Director of Public services for Northville Township ) for several months . Bob has been working along with the board to hopefully obtain funding from Wayne County . A few months back I reached out to Ms Marecki requested that she be an advocate for our subdivision in assisting us with funding for our subdivision roads in order to lessen the financial burden of homeowners. As many of you know, we have sections of our roads that need “ replaced” which is very costly.
Please know the board is still looking into the possibility of a SAD via the township as well as other options.
I wanted to share with you the email I received from Ms Marecki ofice today . I will keep you updated as I recieve more information .
